Vintage Moroccan Djellaba Jacket

150.00 AUD

I vowed never to part with this vintage hand-knitted Moroccan djellaba jacket. I’ve worn her only once in the two years since I bought her in the foothills of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, there on the beach in Essaouira. She was just too beautiful, so I hung her on various walls so I could return to Morocco every time I looked at her. The rough wool knit, the djellaba style of the hood (which the Moroccans use in lieu of a hat), the wooden buttons – there’s just so much to love. But all good things come to an end, and now I want someone else out there to love and cherish her as much as I have. I can’t wait to see who it will be.
