Vintage Indian Elephant Vest

80.00 AUD

I fell in love in Udaipur. Terrible, I know, since I was there on my second wedding anniversary. But head down City Palace Road (Udaipur’s main drag which leads to the magnificent granite and marble City Palace), stop at that particularly sparkly hole-in-the-wall on the right, and you’ll probably fall in love too. For there a rather handsome, charming chap named Mike awaits atop his teetering stacks of bejewelled vintage treasures. I spent hours chatting, drinking tea, and fossicking in his delicious den, and fell a little bit in love with both the goodies I came away with – including this vintage velvet embroidered elephant vest – and the man.
If you’re not planning a trip to India anytime soon, this special vest is sure to help you dream of adventures in the Motherland. Namaste.
