Ethiopian Prayer Beads

65.00 AUD

The use of these Ethiopian prayer beads, which I sourced during Orthodox Christmas at Lalibela, goes back further than the 11th century.
I like to think they are infused with the collective energies of the 20,000 pilgrims we were joined by during those magical three days, some of whom had walked for months to take part in the ritualistic celebrations.
The small silver beads, slightly tarnished with love and age, are a beautiful addition to any wrist situation, bringing that essential distressed element. They can also be used just as they were intended: to count blessings, hanging as a reminder in your home to give thanks for all the magic in your life.
