Vintage Indian Embroidered Coat

75.00 AUD

Jaipur Wala Tailor is one of Pushkar’s best-kept secrets, a vintage Bollywood warehouse that I was let in on from one of my friends on the condition that I didn’t tell anybody. Of course, I just couldn’t help myself, especially when I had a piece this beautiful that I unearthed there to share.
Jaipur Wala Tailor is a place you enter at your own risk, and when you do you have to seriously resist the urge to dive headfirst into the mountain of colourful fabric that’s exploded on the floor. I spent hours picking through the mountains of vintage bejeweled jackets and capes, skirts, crop tops and more, which the lovely owner Banwari sources from Mumbai, the home of Bollywood.
It was worth every minute, especially when I found this earth-toned embroidered lightweight coat to share with you. It’s fabulous worn over jeans or black pants, and topped with a heavy dose of jewels.
