Afghan Kuchi Hair Clip

60.00 AUD

Traipsing through the villages of Turkey’s Cappadocia region, I stumbled across a tiny stall selling a basket full of treasures from the Kuchi people, the Afghan nomads. Each piece of jewelery was a one-off, and the seller told me that they were often brought back by the gypsies who were traveling trough central Asia.
Indeed this hair clip (which can also be worn as a necklace) is a treasure that will transport you to an exotic, bohemian destination – even if you never leave your lounge room.

2 in stock

Condition: Vintage, with some slight imperfections
Material: Metal with small coloured glass tiles and metal bells; metal clasp on back. Should be used with bobby pins to ensure this special piece isn’t lost when worn in the hair.

Pieces featured in Nina’s Bazaar are vintage, pre-loved or handmade one-offs so there may be imperfections which add to the character of each piece.
