Moroccan Handwoven Berber Rug

120.00 AUD

Not only were the cobbled laneways of Rabat’s 12th-century UNESCO-listed Oudaias Kasbah beautiful, with their Yves Klein blue and whitewashed squat buildings bordered with potted palms and ferns, they were also dotted with delectable treasures. Treasures like this antique Berber woollen rug, which has made both the perfect bedside rug and wall hanging in my home.
Hand-woven by Berber artisans in the Atlas Mountains, buying these rugs helps support the livelihood of the Berber women.
