Rajasthani Embroidered Jacket

130.00 AUD

Jaipur Wala Tailor just might be one of the best-kept secrets of Pushkar, a little vintage Bollywood warehouse that I was let in on from one of my best friends on the condition that I didn’t tell anybody. Of course, I just couldn’t help myself, especially when I had a piece this beautiful that I unearthed there to share.
Jaipur Wala Tailor is a place you enter at your own risk, and when you do you have to seriously resist the urge to dive headfirst into the mountain of colourful fabric that’s exploded on the floor.
I spent hours picking through the mountains of vintage bejeweled jackets and capes, embroidered Indian dresses, skirts, crop tops and more, which the lovely owner Banwari sources from Mumbai, the home of Bollywood.
It was worth every minute, especially when I found this stunning ruby red embroidered Rajasthani jacket to share with you guys. It’s just as fabulous done up as a solid piece as it is left open with a pair of black jeans as a jacket.
