Vintage Rajasthani Mirrored Shorts

110.00 AUD

I fell in love in Udaipur.
Terrible, I know, since I was there on my second wedding anniversary. But head down City Palace Road (Udaipur’s main drag which leads to the magnificent granite and marble City Palace), stop at that particularly sparkly hole-in-the-wall on the right, and you’ll probably fall in love too. For there a rather handsome, charming chap named Mike awaits atop his teetering stacks of bejewelled vintage treasures. I spent hours and hours chatting, drinking tea, and fossicking in his delicious den, and fell a little bit in love with both the goodies I came away with, and the man.

These were the only pair of embroidered mirror work shorts I came across in all my travels across India, and I just love how their glitzy detailing is offset by the boyish cut.
If you’re not planning a trip to India anytime soon, these special handcrafted shorts will help you dream of adventures in the Motherland.
