I picked this hand-sewn woven backpack up in Flores island, Indonesia – a natural paradise that I absolutely fell to my knees for. These beauties were woven in the West Manggarai People’s Creative Centre which develops the creativity of the Manggarai people, an ethnic group from western Flores).
In Flores I searched for the fierce and deadly komodo dragons on Komodo Island, swam with dozens of manta rays, watched thousands of flying foxes migrate to the forest at sunset, explored the islands on a traditional wooden boat and discovered pink sand beaches… all with one of these beauties on my back. The soft cotton design and easy drawstring closure make it the perfect accompaniment to any wild adventures.
